Friends

There's nothing like having a true friendship with someone who is sincere, giving and who is always there for you no matter what. When you find this kind of person, hold on to them - they are irreplaceable! This brings me onto the reason for this illustration. I was asked to draw this group of inspiring women who are all good friends and who, amongst them are mothers, wives, sisters, aunties and so the list goes on. I feel very privileged to have created this piece of work - hope you like it too!

Wedding Day Kiss

I had an amazing opportunity to create a few illustrations for a health and beauty company. This is just one of them. I really enjoyed doing this particular piece as I love drawing hair (as you know) and I got a chance to play around with shading. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Lana Del Rey for H & M

Hey all, it's been a while! I absolutely love the H & M Autumn / Winter Campaign featuring Lana Del Rey and have wanted to illustrate one of the images for ages! I only just got the time recently to finish it off. I kept it quite simple and concentrated on Lana's hair and jewellery. I absolutely love drawing hair so I made it a little more exaggerated :-) Hope you like it too.

Ooh La La!

I finally got to finish this illustration. It is actually in colour, however I scanned it in black and white as the scan quality wasn't that great! I'll scan the version in colour in due course.

Only a couple of days left of the year and I'm already in 2012 mode.

For me, the fact that we will be going into a New Year is just a matter of digits. If you really think about it - nothing is really new except the date on the calender! I'm all for being a thinker / planner / goal setter - and this is the resolve which should be taken into 2012.

Whilst on my Christmas holidays I have decided to upload a couple of 'doodles'. I'm such a perfectionist - willing to delay uploading new material onto my blog until the artwork is a 'masterpiece', however I've been wanting to regularly update my blog for a while now and so you will be treated to a few recent 'doodle's' of mine along with the great masterpieces too!
